Obituary for Patricia A Hurteau (Perron)
STURBRIDGE – Patricia A. (Perron) Hurteau, 60, of Sturbridge and former longtime Auburn resident died after a brief illness on Friday, November 16, 2018 at Bay State Medical Center in Springfield. She was the beloved wife of Paul R. Hurteau.
Born in England, Patricia was raised and educated in Auburn, the daughter of Joanne (Kulig) Gegner and the late David C. Perron. She graduated from Auburn High School and then received an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies from Becker College.
In addition to her husband and mother, Patricia is survived by her daughter Beth Brindisi of Tolland, CT; sister Leslie Caribo and her husband Keith of Leicester; nieces and nephews, Logan, Jay, Meghan, and Keith James.
Patricia truly loved her work however made every effort to keep free time to spend with her pets Lupita and Pearl. In her early years she was an accomplished equestrian and truly loved spending time with the horses and many friends she made at the stable. She loved to spend time with her family and friends and truly loved to share time at the table after preparing meals to share with them. Having mastered her grandmother’s preparation of Polish Cuisine, she was always eager to share with her family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Patricia’s family on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 beginning at 10:00 AM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 12:00 Noon in the Chapel of the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn, MA.
