Dorcas R  Fife (Hall)
AUBURN - Dorcas R. (Hall) Fife, 97, died peacefully at her home on Friday, January 25, 2019 with her family at her side.

Her husband was the late Harold Ray Fife with whom she shared 39 years in marriage. She was the daughter of the late Frederick and Elsie (Weston) Hall, and graduated from high school in Worcester, in 1940. She is survived by her son Jim Fife, his wife Kathy Yasi, and their daughter, Alicia Fife, all of Seattle, WA. She was predeceased by her sister Myrtice M. Hall, and brother George W. Hall, both of Worcester.

Dorcas liked to travel, was a skilled seamstress, and enjoyed birds, music and household crafts. She met her husband, Harold (Ray) Fife at Reed & Prince in Worcester, before WWII. During the war, Ray taught basic flight in the Army Air Corps. Later, they made the Air Force a career, living in Texas, Ohio, Colorado, Massachusetts and Florida. In 1967 they retired to Worcester and Auburn, where Ray died in 1984.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 beginning at 9:00 AM at the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to The National Audubon Society (https://www.audubon.org/).
