Obituary for Ruth E. Maynard
Ruth E. (Ward) Maynard, 81, of Auburn, died peacefully on Sunday October 27, 2019 after a brief illness.
Born and raised in Gardner, Ruth was born to Albion and Ida (Bourassa) Ward. She graduated from Worcester Girl’s Trade School. She married her late husband, Lester R. Maynard, in 1960 and shared 51 years in marriage, until his death in 2011.
Ruth leaves her daughter, Cynthia M. Goodline and her husband David of Auburn; her nieces, Debbie Boulanger and Sandy Skammels; and her nephew, Michael Ward. Ruth was predeceased by her parents, her husband, and her brother, Francis A. Ward, who died in 2006.
Ruth’s family would like to thank the Life Care Center of Auburn for their endless support and kindness.
