June F. (Fritze) Sloan, 67, of Worcester died Sunday May 7, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.

June was born in Worcester daughter of the late Leo and Jacqueline (Henry) Fritze. She attended South High School in Worcester and later received her GED, an accomplishment she was very proud of.

June had worked as a Cashier in the Hogan Center at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester for 35 years before she retired in 2015.

June enjoyed her family most of all, especially her grandchildren. Her other interests were coaching with her husband for the Lou Gehrig Little League in Worcester for many years. She loved spending time at Hampton Beach with family and friends and enjoyed Sunday Bingo at St. Peter’s.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, John R. Sloan; a daughter, Shelby L. Clark and her husband Russell of Worcester; five grandchildren, Ashleigh Brewer, Shayne Clark, Corey Clark, Jeremy Brewer and Charles Brewer IV; great grandson, Jonathan; four siblings, Lawrence “Butch” Peak and wife Maryanne of Salisbury, Jacqueline Bann of Northampton, NH, James Fritze and his wife Faith of Altamonte Springs, FL and Wendy Lucier and her partner William Breault of Worcester; also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Charles F. Brewer III and a sister, Maureen Dumochel.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with June’s family on Sunday, May 14, 2017 from 5-7 pm in the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn. Her funeral will be on Monday, May 15, 2017 with a funeral Mass at 10 am in Saint Peter’s Church, 931 Main Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in Saint John’s Cemetery, Worcester.
